Hello darlings! Today I have a couple of cute and comfortable looks to share. I last checked in after the big Cafe Society movie premiere. I loved the hairstyle I had done for the event so much, that I did my best to sleep as still as possible that night, in an effort to extend the look for one more day! Oh the many ways chicks suffer to look good…I’m such a sucker. It was not my best sleep. However, I did wake up ready to rock the braid for one more day! Woot! My photographer was busy, but I did have my parents still in town. Mom to the rescue! It was not my Mother’s first rodeo playing fashion photographer for me, but it was her first time shooting in Chicago, and we had my Dad tagging along. I dragged them around to the various “go to” spots in my neighborhood I often hit up, and my Mom even came through with a couple of unique ideas of her own. My Dad thought the whole thing was an absolute riot…he kept shouting “JULZ!” and making goofy faces at me. It was fun to have my folks experience a glimpse of what my photographer girlfriend, Olivia, and I call, “photoshoot Friday!” Outfit number one is a halter lace romper by J.O.A, so cute and easy. Perfect for attending a shower, birthday party, or any daytime event. My wedges are by Stuart Weitzman, I am linking to their site, where many of my favorites are currently half off. I also am including a link to an off the shoulder lace dress in red, also by J.O.A, that is currently on super sale at Nordstrom. My sunglasses are by Quay, a fabulous and affordable Australian line you can find online, as well as Nordstrom and Topshop, if you prefer trying on. My pom pom keychain is by T&J designs, a great spot to find fun and budget friendly accessories.
I believe every girl needs an easy dress that can be thrown on in a pinch, without looking like a huge sloth. This striped dress by Splendid is perfect. My exact dress is currently on sale at Zappos, or Chicago girls can shop this look at my favorite local boutique, Mulberry and Me. My ankle boots are by Rag and Bone, sunglasses by Tom Ford.
Now if only I had a dollar for every time my Mom came to my rescue…

Have a great weekend babes!
