Chicago has been shifting beautifully into fall, making it easy to embrace the change in fashion. And let’s be serious, the change in season is a lovely excuse to shop for a few updated pieces. The suede 70’s styles are totally rocking for fall 2015, and I am loving it. I recently popped into Target to pick up kitty litter and swiffer pads, and to my delight, I stumbled upon these stunning suede flare pants for $23 bucks! Oh no you didn’t Xhilaration! The lux material will make any outfit look cool, and they fit like cozy yoga pants. I plan to dress them up with fitted sweaters, off the shoulder tops, or dress them down with trusty Converse sneakers, a KISS t-shirt, and a bomber jacket. Holy style steal! I highly recommend!

Duster cardigans are all over the place for fall, and can be a practical way to spice up many different looks. Throw her over a dress or skirt, or add to a basic jean and tee outfit to make it a bit more interesting. You can find a perfectly cute and inexpensive duster at Target, H&M, and good old faithful Forever 21. I fell in love with this beauty by Alice and Olivia, and decided to pull the trigger. Every piece I have treated myself to by this label is feminine, whimsical, and fits me perfectly. The founder Stacey Bendet also happens to be a yoga enthusiast, really sealing the deal as my fashion designer soul mate. I love this color for fall, and the fur collar adds such a fancy flare!

You can’t go wrong with a great pair of denim, a fitted sweater, and a nice pair of heels. Totally Chicago casual, but the nice fit and feminine feet make for a polished look. I typically gravitate towards legging style jeans (probably because the fit is similar to yoga pants!) but a classic pair of blue jeans is a must. I love this pair by Fidelity, designed to cuff at the ankle. Looks great with heels or booties. Showing my Chicago pride in Bears colors!
Indeed fall is the season for jeans and sweaters, but we must not let the cooler temps keep us from going glam from time to time. A mid or long skirt paired with a fitted sweater looks classic and special for a fall night out. Full skirts are a serious fashion obsession of mine, and this beauty by T&J designs is perfection.

I hope I have provided your fall fashion style a touch of sparkly inspiration. Stay warm, happy, stylish, and kind. I don’t know about you, but I think I’m a nicer person when I like my outfit;)
Have a great week y’all!
