Movie premiere style

Hi everyone!  I first want to say thank you for supporting me with this blog!  Day one of the official launch has been full of love and encouraging words from my loved ones.  Y’all really know how to make a gal feel good.  And to further brighten up this rainy Tuesday, I scooped up the last issue of CS magazine with my spirit animal/favorite person to stalk on Instagram Chrissy Teigen, only to find a picture of my husband and I inside! So, I figured I should write about it:)

My father in law is a notable Chicago philanthropist and all around amazing man.  He served as the executive producer for Woody Allen’s latest two films and there are more to come!  Last years movie Magic in the Moonlight was a beautiful romantic comedy starring Colin Firth and Emma Stone.  Just before the premiere my husband and I were honeymooning in Italy…what better place to shop for a movie premiere stunner! It was love at first sight when I saw this beauty in Florence.  This photo was featured in CS magazine last year!

This summer my father in law again served as the executive producer of Woody Allen’s film, Irrational Man…he even has a small speaking role! Irrational man is a mystery drama starring Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone.  My husband and I attended both the San Francisco and Chicago premiere so we all know what that means…time to find two killer outfits!  This time I was searching for, of course, stand out fabulous looks, but also pieces I could use again.

For the slightly more casual San Fransisco event, I went with this Riller and Fount one piece and absolutely loved it! Super comfortable yet stylish.  Can’t wait to rock it again!

Riller and Fount jumpsuit, MiuMius heels, Chanel bag.  Husband wearing Trunk Club

For the Chicago premiere I went with my favorite look, a ladylike full skirt paired with an easy crop top.  This skirt is by Alice and Olivia and the top is Express.  Below is the picture featured in the current September 2015 issue of CS.

Have a great week!
