Hi boo’s! I hope you are all feeling healthy and happy! The frigid Chicago weather can make it very tempting to slop on whatever is warm, but we must not start dressing like homeless hobos just because it’s cold outside. Today I’m serving up some mood elevating styles, to help ward away any potential winter blues.
Topshop is currently full of awesome sales. This swing dress is so easy and comfy, and comes in a variety of colors. Every fashion girl needs a fur vest (or 2 or 3), and this beauty, along with many other fabulously furry items at Topshop, is currently on sale. Stuart Weitzman highland boots (never on sale, but worth the splurge).
I love love the 70’s vibe of this velvet off the shoulder shirt by Topshop, which is also on sale at half the original price. Looks dynamite with your favorite flair jeans, (mine shown are Alice and Olivia), and ankle boots (Rebecca Minkoff shown here). Birkin bag with pom pom detail🙂
I have been enviously eyeing fashion friends rocking Quay sunglasses, but I don’t think ordering sunglasses online is wise (better to be tried on). I was super excited to find Topshop now carries these Aussie gems. I definitely recommend these shades; great quality, great styles, all at a great price. I am also totally on board with the return of 90’s chokers😉 Pom pom hat from Topshop.
I can feel my mom shaking her head at my bare legs in the first outfit. While I am not opposed to sometimes shivering in the name of looking good, I am also a big fan of black tights. I love the look of this all black ensemble, with a colorful scarf, necklace, or whatever you are into! Turtleneck by Red23 clothing (currently on sale), circle skirt by DVF, Topshop scarf, T&J designs statement necklace, Chanel pumps.
Although I have primarily blogged about my favorite fashion finds, you can mostly find me sporting spandex during the week. Having taught fitness classes since college, I have built up a pretty solid collection of cute workout clothes, and try my best to save my pennies for fur vests and party skirts. But every so often a window display at Lululemon will steal my heart, and the jig is up. I love these bright red pants, and this sweatshirt by Kate Spade has such pretty feminine details. Nike wedge sneakers, a pair of tried and true legwarmers, Namaste hat by Spiritual Gangster, and boom! Take that Jane Fonda.
I was instantly drawn to these bright blue happy pants, but the real obsession came when I touched them! These beauties are Lululemon’s “naked” pants, that are engineered to give the feeling of wearing nothing at all. I hate when my bridges interfere with my yoga game, so feeling naked is a yogini dream come true! Top by Lululemon, Hunter boots.

I will leave you with a quote, I kindly recommend you do NOT let this be you!
“I’m sorry for what I wore when I was cold.”
Stay fabulous and fashionable y’alls!
